Rita has been providing process development and customized liquid handling solutions to pharmaceutical and life science companies for over 20 years. She has led automation projects in drug development, diagnostics, and synthetic biology, for clients ranging from start-up to Fortune 500. Before founding The Robot Whisperer in 2007, she developed automation solutions of increasing complexity and impact for teams in a number of departments at Millennium Pharmaceuticals and later at Tecan, a leading manufacturer of liquid handling robots. Rita holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Worcester State University.
